My Review

I received this marvelous book as a gift from a friend when I first became a grandmother. I have re-read it over and over, thoroughly enjoyed it, and then I bought a copy for a friend. It's that good! There are six chapters filled with good advice to new grandmas. The funny quotes from the children are hilarious. I especially like this one from the author, "The greatest gift you can give your grandchild is yourself." What a loving relationship between a grandmother and her sweet grandchildren. I highly recommend the book to friends.

5/5 stars.

Moon over Palomar Mountain: LadyD Books

I took these sky photos with my Nikon D200 facing east while waiting for the sunrise, only to find the moon in view. These snaps were taken before the big snowstorm we received in SoCal. I missed some photo ops while I was being rushed to the ER for an appendectomy. What an exciting New Year's Eve! Back home that night and am now resting and getting back into the swing of things.

Happy New Year, dear readers!
